You can have great pages and strong links, but if Google cannot crawl, index or load your site properly, they stay invisible. A technical expert finds those silent problems, fixes them in order of impact, and tells you when the real issue is somewhere else.
Sample report lines, for illustration.
Technical SEO is the work of making sure search engines can crawl, render, index and quickly serve your website. It deals with things most visitors never see: site structure, speed, redirects, duplicate pages, structured data and mobile behavior. Think of it as the foundation. It does not sell anything by itself, but everything you build on top depends on it.
Technical problems are silent. Your site looks fine in a browser, the team says it works, and traffic just keeps slipping. Here are the usual signs:
New pages take weeks to appear. Search Console shows many "not indexed" pages. Traffic fell right after a redesign. Mobile pages feel slow. Several URLs show the same content. Rankings drop for no clear reason.
Any one of these is worth checking. Two or more usually means there is real money to recover.

A full crawl with Screaming Frog, checked against Search Console, so we fix what Google really sees.
Robots rules, sitemaps, noindex tags, canonicals, orphan pages. The right pages get in, and the wrong ones stay out.
Images, scripts, caching, layout shifts. Real field data, not just one lab score.
Google mostly reads your mobile version. If content or links are missing on mobile, they may as well not exist.
Schema for your business, products, FAQs and articles, so Google and AI tools understand your pages.
Broken links, redirect chains and 404s cleaned up, with alerts so new problems get caught early.
| Problem | What it costs you | The fix |
|---|---|---|
| Pages missing from Google | Traffic never arrives, no matter how good the page | Check indexing reports, remove blocks, add internal links |
| Duplicate URLs | Rankings split between versions of one page | Canonical tags, redirects, cleaner parameters |
| Slow pages on mobile | Visitors leave before it loads, and it hurts in tight races | Compress images, delay scripts, better hosting |
| Redirect chains and 404s | Link value is lost, and crawling is wasted | Point old URLs straight to the right page |
| Orphan pages | Google rarely finds or trusts pages with no links to them | Add links from related pages |
| Content hidden in scripts | Google may miss what only appears after JavaScript runs | Render checks, server-side content where needed |
I crawl the whole site the way Google does and pull your Search Console data.
Each issue is checked by hand, since tools raise many false alarms.
You get a list sorted by effect on traffic and effort, not a 300-line export.
I fix what I can directly and write clear tickets for your developer.
Reports and alerts catch new problems after updates and launches.
Three numbers Google publishes. Slide to your scores and see what they mean.
Find your numbers at PageSpeed Insights, then enter them here.
Google's published limits. Good: LCP up to 2.5s, INP up to 200ms, CLS up to 0.1. Poor: over 4s, 500ms, 0.25.
Blocks removed and errors fixed. Google recrawls important pages, and indexing reports begin to clear.
More pages indexed. If real problems were holding you back, rankings can rise noticeably here.
Faster pages keep more visitors. Your content and links now do their full work.
Expect little change in rankings. You would be better off spending on content or links, and I will say so.
| Task | Do it yourself? | Why people hire it out |
|---|---|---|
| Read Search Console's indexing report | Yes, it is free | Knowing which items matter takes experience |
| Test speed with PageSpeed Insights | Yes | Fixing it often needs code or hosting changes |
| Fix broken links | Yes, with a plugin | Large sites need crawl tools |
| Canonicals and redirects | With care | Mistakes can remove pages from Google |
| Schema markup | Plugins do the basics | Custom types need a little code |
Blocked pages can still show up in Google. Noindex is usually the tool you want.
Real visitors matter, not a lab test on one page.
This is the most common way I see sites lose traffic overnight.
Tools report many harmless items. Fix what affects pages that earn money.
