For sites that get seen on Google but do not get clicked

On-page SEO services for pages that rank and sell.

Your pages need to do two jobs: convince Google they are the best answer, and convince a person to choose you. Most pages do neither. They target nothing clear, and their titles read like a filing system. On-page SEO fixes that, and it is often the fastest win in SEO.

Before and after, same page

Same ranking. More clicks.

  • Effect: more clicks from rankings you already have, often within weeks.
  • Why first: you fully control it, and it costs less than earning links.

What is on-page SEO?

On-page SEO is the work of improving the pages on your own website so they rank higher and earn more clicks. It covers what each page targets, its title and description, its content and headings, its internal links and its schema markup. Unlike links, it is entirely in your control, and changes can be seen by Google within days.

Type your own. It updates as you type, and nothing leaves your browser.

yourwebsite.com

The most common mistake

Your page answers the wrong question.

The biggest on-page problem is not a missing tag. It is a mismatch. Someone searches for a price and gets a company history. Someone searches for a provider and gets a blog post. Google can see they leave, and so can you.

So I begin by looking at what actually ranks for each search. If the top 10 are all buying pages, your guide will not rank there, however well written. Then the page gets rebuilt to fit the way people search.

After that, titles. For pages already getting seen, a better title is the fastest gain in SEO: same ranking, more clicks.

On-page SEO services, included

What an on-page SEO expert does for you.

Keyword map

One page, one main search. Every important page gets its own target, so your pages stop competing with each other.

Titles and descriptions

Written to earn the click, starting with the pages that already rank and get seen.

Content improvements

Answer what the searcher wants, cover what the top pages cover, and add what only you can say.

Internal links

Links from strong pages to the ones that earn money, so authority flows where you need it.

Schema markup

Business, product, FAQ and article data, so Google and AI tools read your pages correctly.

Images and details

Alt text, file sizes, headings, URLs. Small things, done right on the pages that matter.

How it works

Start where the money already is.

  1. Pull real data

Search Console shows the searches you already appear for and the clicks you miss.

  2. Map keywords

One main search per page, with no pages fighting each other.

  3. Study the winners

What do the top results give people that your page does not?

  4. Rewrite and rebuild

Titles first, then content, links and schema on the pages with the most to gain.

  5. Measure

Compare clicks and rankings after each change, and keep what works.

The effect

How fast on-page work pays back.

Days

Google recrawls changed pages, often within days for active sites.

Weeks 2 to 6

Better titles lift click-through rates on pages that already rank.

Months 2 to 4

Rebuilt pages climb, particularly for long-tail searches, and internal links strengthen your key pages.

Limits

In competitive niches, on-page work gets you ready to compete. You will still need links for the hardest keywords.

Why, and why not

Who needs on-page SEO, and who does not.

You need this if

  • Search Console shows many impressions and few clicks.
  • Your pages have vague titles, or the same title.
  • Several of your pages target the same thing.
  • You have traffic, but it does not turn into calls or sales.

You do not need this if

  • Google cannot index your site. Fix that first with technical SEO.
  • Your pages are already strong and you are stuck on links.
  • You have only a handful of pages and no plan for more. Start with a keyword plan.
  • You will not let anyone change your page wording.
Do it yourself or hire someone

On-page is the easiest part to do yourself.

TaskDo it yourself? Why people hire it out
Rewrite titles of your top 10 pagesYesTesting what wins takes time and data
Add internal linksYesLarge sites need a plan
Fix headings and imagesYesIt is slow across many pages
Keyword mappingWith a paid toolGetting it wrong sets pages against each other
Rebuild thin pagesIf you can write wellIt takes research and strong writing
Stuffing keywords

Repeating a phrase does not help, and it makes readers leave.

One page per tiny keyword variation

Similar searches belong on the same page. Separate pages compete.

Chasing a green plugin score

A green light in Yoast or Rank Math is not the same as ranking.

Changing URLs without redirects

This loses rankings you already earned.

Questions people ask

On-page SEO FAQ.

What do on-page SEO services include?
Keyword mapping, titles and meta descriptions, headings, content improvements, internal links, image optimization and schema markup. A good service also checks that each page matches what the searcher wants, because that matters more than any tag.
What is the difference between on-page and off-page SEO?
On-page is everything on your own pages: words, structure, titles, schema. Off-page is what happens elsewhere, mainly links and mentions. You need both, and on-page is the one you fully control.
How much do on-page SEO services cost?
Agencies often price by page or by month. My Growth plan at $799 a month covers your key pages, and Premium Growth at $1,999 covers every page. Larger one-off page projects are quoted after an audit.
How quickly does on-page SEO work?
Often faster than other SEO work, since Google can recrawl a changed page within days. Title changes on pages that already rank can raise clicks within weeks. New rankings usually take longer.
How long should my title tag be?
Aim for about 50 to 60 characters, since Google usually cuts titles at around 600 pixels wide. Put the main topic near the start, and write it for a person. Google may still rewrite it.
Does keyword density still matter?
No. Use your main phrase naturally in the title, first paragraph and a heading, and then write for the reader. Repeating a phrase more does not help, and it can read badly.
